Leach Camper Sales suffers another loss from thefts. Lincoln Police are investigating a burglary where suspects cause four times more damage than the value of their loot.
According to Lincoln Police Captain Michon Morrow, sometime between 5:00 p.m. Saturday and 8:00 a.m. Monday, someone broke into campers at Leach Camper Sales near 27th and Cornhusker.
Morrow said the suspects broke into three campers and attempted to get into two others. They stole 4 flat screen television sets which total $1,500.
Damage to the campers is estimated at $5,000.
In early January of 2011, thieves broke into campers taking 6 flat screen TV sets and 2 DVD players.
Just two weeks later, Leach Campers was hit again. That time, the loss was 4 flat screens valued at $3,000.
In May of 2011, thieves broke into four campers damaging three others to steal electronics and flat screens.
