A foot pursuit outside of Westroads mall Thursday evening had us digging to learn more about it. We’re told a suspect from several thefts tried to use a stolen credit card. He ran from police was caught and struggled with an officer. The suspect had to be tasered.
He is identified as 29 year old James Milbourn who has been booked on several fraud and theft charges. Milbourn has been in the news for doing the same thing.
One of his victims this time is Joe Williams. While stopping at a friend's house, Williams left his wallet in his unlocked pickup. And it was stolen within minutes.
Although his driver's license was recovered during the arrest of the suspect -- the credit cards are missing.
Joe Williams the theft victim tells Fact Finders, " So I went home and got onto the website and noticed that he used it at Wal-mart and Auto zone already and I canceled those cards immediately."
The arrest of Milbourn also leads to recovery of a stolen pickup from Sarpy County. Three years ago, Fact Finders showed you bank photos of him cashing checks stolen from mailboxes and forged with his name.
Milbourn served about six months in prison before his release two years ago.
