A theater troupe focusing on topics of war,hunger and violence against women brings its talents to Lincoln on Monday at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's Sheldon Museum of Art.
The Guerrilla Girls on Tour will perform "Feminists are Funny"
at 7 p.m. The 70-minute play includes the latest developments in
politics, the arts and media. The performance ends with a question
and answer discussion with the audience.
Guerrilla Girls on Tour is a company of 26 women trained in a
variety of comedic theater techniques who develop unique and
outrageous activist plays, performance art and street theater.
The troupe has presented more than 200 performances and
workshops. The performance is free and open to the public.
