The Walk Back, Man Still Honors 9-11 Victims

One step at a time, a California man continues his walk across the United States in honor of those fallen on or because of 9-11.

Armand Young stopped in to WOWT 6 News studios to display the progress of his six foot tall pole, adorned with front badges and American flags. Young’s goal is over 1 million signatures, currently at 577,000 and is keeping to his original mission.

"I'm going to honor five fallen soldiers or five people that died on 9/11 by getting the family the first and last months rent into a home with a job. I always reach out into the community that I'm walking through to help that family keep going,” Young said.

Young’s project is the most signed object in the world. So far his claims 433 families have gotten homes, over 5,000 people fed and over 2,000 people landed jobs because of his mission.
