Hundreds of parishioners walked the streets of South Omaha for Good Friday.
Assumption-Guadeloupe Parish held its annual reenactment of Jesus carrying the cross to his crucifixion.
Father Bernard Starman, said, “To actually have actors portraying those events in the outdoors on a beautiful day like today brings a different kind of solemnity to it."
The stations of the cross ceremony was done entirely in Spanish.
Parishioners lined the streets and joined along the way as they traveled from 22nd and U to the church at 23rd and O.
The parish has done this for more than 30 years.
