Omaha Police have cited a Heartland man in an alleged case of theft of recyclables.
According to the report a woman who lives in the area of 16th and Y Streets called officers to report the theft from her recycling bin.
The homeowner says it has been an ongoing problem; the same man drives down her street on trash pickup day and empties her recycling bin before they can be picked up.
Officers were given a description of the suspect's pickup, a black 1999 Ford F-150. Responding officers found the pickup and driver.
In the report the officers indicated the back of the pickup was full of recyclables and that the driver admitted to removing the cans from the woman's recycling bin.
Officers cited 40-year-old Ignacio Enriquez-Bustamante and released him. The officers then called the proper authorities for proper disposal of the cans.
