Tennis anyone and for everyone. That’s why eleven special needs players took to the courts at Koch tennis complex on Labor Day.
Its part of the Baird Labor Day tournament they partnered with college, high school and recreational players for doubles. But in these matches everyone is a winner.
Tennis buddies director Tammy hill said, “It’s not about tennis so much but the social part, the friendships and just having fun together.”
The special needs players come from Omaha, Lincoln, Fremont and other areas of eastern Nebraska
