Teens Wounded In Drive-By Shooting, Suspects Arrested

Two teens are recovering after being shot leaving a party Sunday morning.

Police say a car pulled up near North 28th and Maple streets in Omaha just after 1 a.m. and someone inside opened fire, wounding 16-year-old Sebit Mayot and 16-year-old Nyawaar Paojur.

Officers stopped the suspect vehicle a short time later near 41st Street and Bedford Avenue and booked 21-year-old Davonte Hill for two counts of felony assault and two counts of use of a weapon. Twenty-one-year-old Andrey Tolbert was booked on an outstanding warrant.
