A 16-year-old from Schuyler, Nebraska was killed in an early morning rollover crash. Two others were injured.
Authorities have identified the teen as Ramon Azcunaga. Azcunaga was a student at Schuyler Central High School.
Emergency crews and law enforcement responded to the single vehicle crash just after 4 a.m. Thursday.
The crash happened on County Road C between the 800 and 900 mile marker.
Azcunaga was a passenger in the vehicle, and was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other juveniles were treated at the scene and released.
According to investigators, the juveniles were riding in a red 2007 Pontiac G6 with no registration or license plates. The cause of the crash is still under investigation, but no one in the vehicle was wearing a seat belt.
Colfax County Sheriff's Department, Nebraska State Patrol and the Schuyler Fire Department all responded to the crash.
