There's new information about what was stolen by a teen believed to be a serial burglar.
Seventeen-year-old Caleb Petrick faces burglary charges in Douglas and Sarpy Counties. Records say he allegedly stole at least nine firearms. There were handguns, shotguns, and rifles apparently taken from homes in Ralston, and La Vista. Police say he also took cash, pills, and a cell phone.
Petrick allegedly told a friend that he got the guns from breaking into homes, though he did not cooperate with police when questioned about the crimes.
The teen was arrested by the Omaha Police Department while breaking into a home near 53rd & Q St. He’s also believed to have pointed a gun at a security guard at the Bag ‘N Save on 51st & Harrison St.
His preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 6th.
