Two of three teenagers accused of robbery have court appearances Wednesday.
Sixteen-year-old Baling Dat waived his preliminary hearing. His attorney said he will try to get the case moved to juvenile court. The lawyer for 17-year-old Gach Thichiot plans to waive his preliminary hearing when Thichiot goes before a judge in the afternoon.
Sixteen-year-old Nhial Wuol has already waived his preliminary hearing.
The case involves eight robberies and two attempted robberies across Omaha in one night last month. They each face eight counts of robbery and two counts of attempted robbery. If convicted, each teen faces up to 50 years for the robbery charges and 20 for the attempted robbery charges.
