Omaha police arrested a man in connection to a robbery, but say the suspect got himself into more trouble when he allegedly tried to hide drugs inside the police cruiser.
Nineteen-year-old Angel Gonzalez-Ramirez was arrested June 8, after being identified by a victim he allegedly robbed earlier in the day at 27th and Polk. According to police, while being taken to Police Headquarters, Gonzalez-Ramirez kicked off his shoes and tried to stuff a bag of cocaine in a crevice of the floor boards, with his toes.
Gonzalez-Ramirez is charged with use of a weapon to commit a felony, felon in possession of a firearm, robbery, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
