A teenager was booked Saturday morning for felony possession of a gun on school property.
Police say officers patrolling in the area of North 42nd Street and Grand Avenue shortly after midnight saw three boys, two 16-year-olds and one 17-year-old, outside Central Elementary School. After making contact with the teens, the officers noticed one had a gun.
The other two boys were cited for closed property violations and released.
