Teen Arrested For Threats Made To Shoot Up School

A 14-year-old Ralston High School student has been arrested and could face felony charges after saying he was going to shoot up the school in front of teachers and students on Tuesday.

Police say an investigation and search revealed that the teen had no weapons or intent to actually go through with the threat. Police believe the threat was made by the teen during a moment of frustration and anger over an upcoming transfer to another school.

Police and Ralston schools have a zero tolerance policy. The teen was arrested Tuesday night and taken to the Douglas County Youth Center.
