A former Elkhorn Valley teacher has pleaded guilty to several charges stemming from a sex case.
The Norfolk Daily News reports 28-year-old Lee Burenheide, of Tilden, will face up to seven years in prison when he's sentenced Nov. 23 on two
counts of third-degree sexual assault and one count of possessing
Court documents filed by prosecutors say the charges stem from
Burenheide's sexual contact with two teenage girls. He's accused of
sending inappropriate messages and photos to them.
Burenheide had taught science at Elkhorn Valley High School. He resigned in January.
