A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for eastern Gage, Johnson and northwestern Pawnee counties in Nebraska until 2:45 p.m. A tornado watch is in effect for parts of southeast Nebraska and southwest Iowa until 10 p.m. Sunday.
Lincoln police say a woman tried to slice a tattoo of her name off her boyfriend's neck.
Capt. Anthony Butler told the Lincoln Journal Star that the19-year-old woman and her 30-year-old boyfriend had gotten into a dispute around 6:40 p.m. on Friday.
That's when she tried to cut off the tattoo.
Butler says the boyfriend suffered only minor injuries, mostly scratches.
