Taking a daily aspirin may reduce cancer deaths.
Researchers at the American Cancer Society reviewed data on more than 100,000 men and women who'd been taking aspirin before any cancer diagnosis.
Of those who later developed cancer, the daily aspirin was associated with a 16-percent lower mortality rate 5 years after their cancer diagnosis.
This is actually lower than previous estimates, but experts say it's still worth talking to your doctor about the benefits and risks of a daily aspirin.
