Swinging In The Right Direction

The coldest air of the season and since February is sitting over the top of us, but not for long! Temperatures swing in the right direction starting Wednesday.

Notice the warmer air to our west, that's the air mass that's going to gradually build back in through the weekend. Wednesday morning will still be chilly but not as extreme as Tuesday morning. We are expecting lows in the upper teens, but with increasing winds the feels like temperature will be in the single digit range.

Allow a little extra time in the morning to warm up your vehicle. Keep your animals inside if that's possible. If not, make sure they have a shelter to sleep in and fresh and unfrozen water. You'll probably want to bundle up the kiddos before they head out to the bus stop too.

Southerly winds increase throughout the day on Wednesday, drawing up milder air to the south and temperatures rise into the lower 50's. That's seasonable for this time of year.
