Although swimming can't be taught in just one lesson, a new swim school in Omaha wants to get the ball rolling for children who need help learning to swim; for free.
In conjunction with the grand opening of its first Omaha location, Aqua Tots Swim School will be offering free swim lessons to Omaha area residents the entire week of October 15th to help reduce the number of drowning accidents that occur each year.
The swim lessons are free and parents do not have to sign up for anything to have their children participate.
Aqua Tots, located at 144th and Fort streets, will have a grand opening on October 20th.
Free lessons will be given October 15th through the 19th from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and afternoons from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Those who wish to continue lessons beyond the free lessons will be given a discount on monthly tuition.
