A high risk search warrant was served on a home in Beatrice, Nebraska Tuesday. A host of law enforcement agencies were after receiving a tip that the home had multiple firearms, stolen property, and a felon who frequently pays a visit.
They found everything they were looking for and more at 1827 May Street.
The Gage County Sheriff’s Office, Nebraska State Patrol, and Beatrice Police Department searched the home and also found numerous items of drug paraphernalia which tested positive for meth. Forty-six-year-old Darren J. Clink was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
While at the home, officers learned information that they would find 30-year-old Byron Forney at another address. He had an active warrant in Gage County. Forney was found hiding in a closet and arrested for possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest.
