Matthew Fleshman has waived his preliminary hearing and will stand trial on a charge of Motor Vehicle Homicide for a fatal traffic accident last October.
Fleshman was driving eastbound on Interstate 80, exited at South 24th Street and investigators say he failed to stop at the T-intersection at the end of the ramp.
The vehicle hit a concrete barrier and caught fire. Fleshman was critically injured and his passenger, 26-year-old Josh Pacheco of Omaha was killed.
If convicted, Fleshman could face one to 50 years in prison.
