Surprise search Tuesday morning at Plattsmouth High. Officers from the Plattsmouth Police Department, in cooperation with the Plattsmouth public school district, conducted open air locker and vehicle searches on the grounds of the high school, says Police Chief Steve Rathman.
Students were temporarily confined to their classrooms while the searches were conducted.
K9 units from the Plattsmouth, Bellevue, Papillion and Council Bluffs police departments, along with units from the Sarpy County and Pottawattamie County sheriff departments assisted in the searches.
