Superintendent Search Narrows

The OPS Board of Education expects to have its top 3-5 candidates by December of this year.

PROACT Search LLC, the hiring firm running the search for a new superintendent, says the candidate pool is currently at 78 applicants.

An interim superintendent is already in place. Dr. Virginia Moon will run things through July of 2013. According to her contract she will be paid $275,000.
