A felony arrest after a car crash. A two-vehicle accident was reported south of Eagle on A Street, east of Highway 43 at 8:17am Sunday.
The Cassgram reports Eagle and Alvo fire and rescue departments responded along with sheriff’s deputies.
Neither driver needed medical transport to the hospital but one of the drivers was transported to the county jail.
Investigation determined that Tim Anthony Wilmes, age 24, Lincoln, was the driver of a westbound vehicle traveling in the eastbound lane, said Cass County Sheriff Wm. C. Brueggemann. Wilmes was arrested and booked on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol (3rd offense, a felony). He was also cited for open container and driving left of center.
