Shadow Lake Towne Center® will kick off its eighth season of the “Sounds of Summer” concert series beginning on Friday, May 30 and running through Friday, August 22.
The series features live band performances from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Friday evenings through the summer at the Bellevue Medical Center Amphitheatre stage, located in center court.
The genres of music performance schedule include a mix of jazz, blues, classic rock, country, and oldies.
In addition to the concert performance, various merchant prizes will be offered to the audience each week along with free face painting or balloon art and other giveaways for kids.
Outdoor seating surfaces are available but concert-goers are encouraged to bring along portable chairs as well.
Beverages and food are also available for purchase in the general concert venue. Outside alcohol is strictly prohibited due to City of Papillion open container laws.
Shadow Lake Towne Center restaurants will participate as food and beverage hosts each week, including Nebraska Brewing Company, Texas Roadhouse, Old Chicago, Hy-Vee, Red Robin and Morning, Noon & Night.
In observance of the Memorial Day Weekend, the first concert of the season will feature an intermission tribute by the Offutt Air Force Base Honor Guard presentation of the colors.
