Monday was a perfect day to be out on the golf course, especially for first timers.
Six students from Sacred Heart School spent part of their doing just that. The 5th through 8th grade students were selected to take part in a golf clinic based on their good behavior at school so far this year.
"It gives them the chance to learn how to golf, and for many of these kids it's their first time to golf, and they've done much better than I have that's for sure,” Father Fangman of Sacred Heart School said.
Father Fangman said the students also discover something else they may excel at, which is what Sacred Heart strives to show them.
