It's a small world and that was evident Friday at Omaha City Hall.
Students from Beveridge Magnet Middle School brought an 8x12 foot map to the cafeteria at the City-County Building.
They've been working on a project called Being Civically Engaged and Globally Minded.
The middle school student s mapped out the Omaha businesses with international connections. They even shared what they had learned with their own presentations.
Seventh grader Ehsan Dahia said, "I didn't even know we even traded with them until we did this project. I thought America just made all these, not other countries making them and then exporting them."
Other students were impressed as well with the conclusion that Omaha is much more of an international business city than people realize.
