Metro area middle school, high school and college students will converge on downtown Omaha next week for the first-ever #OmahaStudentTakeOver.
It’s being called the largest, student-led public declaration of passions and dreams in Omaha history. Goals of the event include #InspireOmaha and help create a positive and optimistic narrative for the city, teach residents the importance of passion in their lives, have as many students and residents join together to declare their passions and dreams and to brainstorm ideas for the city on how it can encourage, cultivate and create a space that allows all residents, especially students, to pursue their passions and dreams and positively impact the community.
The specific time and location of the February 15th rally will be announced at 10:30 a.m. that day. Visit OmahaStudentTakeOver.com for more information and search for hashtags on social media outlets: #OmahaStudentTakeOver #PassionConventionOmaha #DeclarationDayOmaha #InspireOmaha.
