Interested in learning about severe storms? Have you ever dreamed of becoming a storm spotter and helping the National Weather Service? You're in luck! Severe storm spotter training classes in the NWS Omaha, NE county warning area begin Thursday, February 28th.
The classes last between one and a half and two hours and provide a basic understanding of thunderstorm structure, spotting techniques, and procedures. Classes are free, there is no need to register and all you have to do is attend a class near your location.
