The cashier at a Lincoln CVS Pharmacy was stabbed as he tried to subdue the man who allegedly robbed the store Sunday morning.
Police said 30-year-old Leslie Alsop asked the cashier about a TracFone prepaid cellphone around 7:40 a.m. He grabbed the phone and ran out of the store with the cashier in pursuit. When he tried to hold Alsop down in the parking lot, Alsop allegedly pulled out scissors and stabbed him in the elbow.
Alsop ran to the 1700 block of South 16th Street where he was taken into custody by police.
The cashier suffered only minor injuries and refused medical treatment.
