Returns are usually made after Christmas, but an Omaha woman got something special back before the holidays.
Over the weekend, Barb Welch was shocked to find her custom-made nativity scene was stolen from her front yard. Channel 6 News told her story of frustration, but forgiveness.
Overnight Wednesday, the figures of the holy family showed up back in their place at the front yard manger. “I think somebody saw it on the news and maybe had a stroke of conscience, but I’m really thankful they brought it back. It just totally made my Christmas.”
Barb said the nativity scene was not damaged.
