Authorities say a 4-foot-tall brass statue has been stolen from the front of the Lincoln Children's Museum.
Museum officials say it was of a boy grasping flags in each hand. They believe it was taken between Thursday afternoon and early Sunday evening.
Interim Director Angela Smith says the statue by artist Jane Rankin is worth about $7,000.
But, Smith says, "to us it is priceless."
