Omaha State Senator Scott Lautenbaugh is now serving his sentence for an aggravated drunken driving offense.
A judge sentenced Lautenbaugh to two days of house arrest and a year of probation.
It was in February when the senator was pulled over near 147th & West Maple for suspicion of drunken driving. His blood alcohol content tested at .234, nearly three times the legal limit.
Lautenbaugh will also be required to keep an interlock device in his car. He will be allowed to drive to Lincoln to fulfill his duties in the unicameral.
