State Aid Reduction Affects One School District

Louisville budget update provided by Superintendent Greg Shepard this month. The school board was informed that finalized information will be available in July but it appears the Louisville district will have a state aid reduction of $300,000-plus in the next two years, according to the (pending) minutes.

The Cassgram reports Shepard suggested the district should strive to maintain the equivalent of a cash balance of one to one-and-a-half months of expenditures in the general fund.
