A 28-year-old Lincoln man remains behind bars after police say he held them at bay for nine hours.
Officers were called to a home near 20th and J streets Thursday afternoon for a man pointing a gun out of a window. Damien Brown then climbed out of a second-floor window and threatened officers with a knife and a screwdriver. He jumped onto a neighbor's roof where he stayed until surrendering around 1 a.m. Friday.
Brown was arrested on suspicion of making terroristic threats, using a weapon to commit a felony, trespassing and obstructing government operations.
Police said after his arrest, a toy gun was found in his house.
