Omaha Police are investigating a stabbing that happened Monday evening.
Initially, police were called to a home near 24th and F Street to investigate a disturbance. At the home a woman told investigators the victim, her ex-husband 33-year-old Evelio Cruz Orellana showed up at her door-step, bleeding.
It was later determined that Orellana had been stabbed. He was taken to Creighton University Medical Center with critical but non-life threatening injuries.
Police said their investigation is ongoing,
