The cost of sports in one community. PACK is the acronym for Plattsmouth Activities Complex for Kids and concerns the plans for improving outdoor facilities at Plattsmouth High School.
The estimated cost for the total project is $3.85 million.
The Cassgram reports The Community Sports Development Council issued a preliminary, but firm, commitment to fund up to 70% ($2 million) of the turf cost. So here is the latest breakdown for the remaining costs of the project:
$1,179,896 for construction of the synthetic turf baseball/softball field, including lights, a press box, scoreboard, bleachers etc.
$420,975 to install synthetic turf on the marching band/soccer/football field
$150,400 for re-surfacing of the track and runways
$99,500 for the installation of sidewalks, a walking trail and parking lot
