The Siena/Francis House is addressing a critical shortage for a certain segment of our community.
Two new apartment buildings will house the disabled homeless and provide the support they need to thrive. The new buildings will house 24 people each and also provide easy access to their support network and case workers. The two complexes sit on the Siena/Francis House campus.
For clients like Brenda Reuda, the new housing is the answer to a prayer. "I would have been on a waiting list for over a year. With my income there are just not very many places for people with disabilities. There are limited places."
The buildings are environmentally friendly as both of them have a "green" roof to keep heating and cooling costs down.
