Southeast Nebraska Crash Victim Identified

Authorities have released the name of a 54-year-old Fairbury woman who was killed in a collision on an icy highway in southeast Nebraska Thursday morning.

The Nebraska State Patrol says the crash occurred near the Gage County and Jefferson County line along U.S. Highway 136. Officials say strong winds created whiteout conditions.

The Gage County Sheriff's Department says Suzan Debourge's sport utility vehicle slid across the center line and hit an oncoming pickup driven by 61-year-old Thomas Lohmeier of Hebron. Lohmeier was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Debourge was pronounced dead at the scene.
