A South Omaha apartment complex is goes into lockdown on Wednesday evening. This happened at the Livestock Exchange Building near 30th and L at 4 PM.
Police tell us a previous tenant threatened management. The building was in lockdown for about an hour and a half.
"There were no hostage situations or anything like that, but we were informed that he may be armed and on the premises," said Officer James Shade with the Omaha Police Department. "So, we did floor by floor searches, in trying to make sure people were safe and that there were no situations."
The man left the building before officers arrived.
Police tell us they found the man later, but he didn't have any weapons on him. There wasn't enough against him to make an arrest.
