SUBMIT A TIP & EARN $$ REWARD: omahacrimestoppers.net/wanteds.aspx
They're never in a rush, never show their face and they don't hide what methods they use to stay one step ahead of police. "They're calm while they're inside because they have a look out outside and they're using walkie-talkies the whole time," said Omaha Police Officer James Shade.
OPD has connected this group of burglars to at least eight crimes but likely more. "We agree it appears they are moving. It's not just Omaha but we know of at least one in Lincoln and possibly Tennessee," said Officer Shade.
The latest images released by police show what the suspects do before they break in to at least one target. "He walks around the store checking things out," Ofc. Shade comments watching the security video. It appears the suspects "case" the business by walking around, checking things out then making a small purchase on their way out.
Police remind anyone with information to submit an anonymous tip that could lead to a $1,000 reward by calling 402-444-7867.
