Snow Brushes by Metro, Few Iowa Early Dismissals
While the Omaha metro area is escaping the brunt of a major snowstorm, a few school districts in Iowa have announced early dismissals for Tuesday.

Iowa transportation officials reported roadways were covered with snow in south-central and southeast Iowa and partially covered elsewhere.
Well to our south, the Kansas City metro area is getting hit especially hard. The forecast for the KC area was for 7-14 inches of snow Tuesday with some pockets receiving as much as 20 inches.
