Sloppy Suspects End Up In Cuffs
Did these burglary suspects really not know that Walmart had security cameras? Police say they were using a credit card they picked up in a residential burglary the night before.
Yohana Dau, Aki Awou and a juvenile suspect are all in custody after Omaha Police located them using the video provided by Walmart. Police say they are still looking for one suspect. You can see him in the video in the white t-shirt walking out of the store.
The four suspects are accused of breaking into a home just north of 70th & Maple where they allegedly stole a laptop computer a cell phone and the homeowner's purse.
The video from Walmart revealed the car they were driving and that gave officers a jumping off point. After cross checking their database with the make and model they were able to find a suspect that led to their first arrest.
