Tuesday morning will be off to a wet start with scattered showers early, otherwise expect mostly cloudy skies for most of Tuesday.
Then another weather system moves into the Heartland late Tuesday bringing a prolonged period of scattered showers and storms. Best chances for rain will be on Wednesday with rounds of heavy showers and imbedded storms. Widespread severe weather is not likely, but a few isolated storms could be strong to severe producing some hail and gusty winds.
Flooding may be a big concern as well as some forecast models are indicating the chance of two to four inches of rain, especially north of I-80.
