An Omaha family gets an early morning wake up call after a suspect, fleeing from police, crashes into their home.
Just before two o'clock Monday morning, the driver of a stolen pickup truck barreled into the side of a house after crashing into two parked cars.
The driver, identified by police as 47-year-old James Harris III, was trying to get away from police who spotted the stolen truck near 24th and Sprague.
Five people live in the house; none of them were injured.
Harris was booked into Douglas County Corrections for Flight to Avoid Arrest, Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident, Obstructing, Driving Under Suspension, Possession of Drug Equipment and Theft.
