A Sports Authority employee tried to stop some shoplifters, but in the process he almost got tased.
On Saturday, January 4th three females went into the store at 72nd and Pacific around 4:15 p.m. Then around 30 minutes later they ran out with a handful of clothing.
A cashier approached one of the suspects as she was running, but she pulled out a taser from her pocket and pointed it at him.
The three got away in a vehicle that was waiting outside for them.
Omaha police are now investigating.
