An Omaha man shot Wednesday afternoon was pronounced dead at Creighton University Medical Center.
Police said 21-year-old Brandon Thomas was shot at 41st and Maple around 4:15 p.m.
Neighborhood residents reported hearing 8-12 gunshots they first thought were fireworks. They saw several teens, mostly girls, running from the scene.
