Omaha Police have made an arrest after a shooting that left multiple victims with minor injuries.
Francisco Hernandez, 19, faces several charges including First Degree Assault, weapon charges, and obstructing an officer.
The incident began with a report of a shooting at 29th and DuPont shortly before 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Officers arrived to find a Jeep on the entrance ramp to Highway 75/480 from Ed Creighton. The vehicle had been shot at but no one was on the scene.
The victims had left and gone to 3079 South 41st Street, where one victim lives. They called the police.
Officers identify the victims as 20-year-old Kayla Woslager and 23-year-old Dakota Pekas. Woslager's two-year-old daughter was in the victims' car as well, but wasn't hurt in the shooting. Woslager's and Pekas' injuries are minor and they refused medical treatment.
Witnesses described the suspect vehicle as a white Taurus that left the scene southbound.
Police believe they located the Taurus near South 18th Street and Martha. A suspect with a long gun was taken into custody for questioning. No word on whether the car belonged to Hernandez, he was arrested at his home on S 18th Street Tuesday night.
