Mills County authorities are looking into an apparent self-inflicted shooting at West Elementary School in Glenwood Friday afternoon.
It happened at 3:30 p.m.
Mills County 911 received a call from Douglas Trent Good that he had shot himself in the leg. Good was at West Elementary on the playground pick-up area at the time.
The matter is currently under investigation by the Glenwood Police Department. They want to know why Good had a 9mm handgun on school property and sort out the circumstances surrounding his injury.
