Accidental shooting incident south of Omaha.
Cass County Sheriff’s deputies and Murray Fire & Rescue responded to a report of an accidental shooting at a residence in the rural Murray area around 11am Sunday (1/27).
The Cassgram reports 55-year-old Antonio Marino was attempting to clean his pistol. Marino had removed the magazine but was unaware that there was still a round in the chamber. When he attempted to remove the barrel from the gun, the firearm discharged. The bullet struck Marino's left hand.
Murray Rescue took him to an Omaha hospital where he was treated and released.
